Been shopping here with my family and guests scince the late 1970's , and it remains my staple source of boards, clothes, and accessories now for way over 2 decades now.The shop has always kept its finger somehow on the pulse /style of the surf community here , to the extent that I've felt a great deal of confidence giving out LBH gift certificates annually for my daughter's, spouse , and surf friends.They always found something at LBH to wear and cherish so It made things easy to ensure solid gifts.Onto the Nitty Gritty stuff like purchased boards, returns , and trade ins. etc...Well LBH has always made me feel well taken care of, always.Like the time LBH offered my girls each a softop for the trade in on a mint signed oahu takayama 9.6 , after a nearby shop told me it was worth 35$ that same day!....or the time I absolutely knew the board i just bought . . wasnt gonna work for me after one sesh, and Ryan the GM gave me nearly full value back, and talked me onto a Steve Forstall fish that became my magic" go to" for the next 6 to 10 years....seriously this place is legit, still is, and probably will be till the end.5 Big Stars !

There one of the last true surf shops. Ron Jon's turned Disneyfied long time ago instead of staying true to who they were. Would go to Longboard when I was a kid.

My son had wanted to buy a shaped longboard for a long time, so he did his research and found Longboard House Surf Shop. We arrived on a Thursday, and Seth took the time to walk my son through every new and used board he was interested in. He explained the differences, the shapes, and the feel of each board without ever rushing the process.Three days later, we came back to purchase one of the boards, and once again Seth greeted us and helped my son make his final decision. His knowledge of surfing and surf culture is truly impressive, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping people find the right board.We also met Mason, who ended up having a great conversation with my son about 3D printing, which made the experience even more memorable.We absolutely loved this shop.
